YAY! my new hard drive came in the mail.
My poor computer, it died on Monday after watching a movie from it. I have a d-link wireless media player that lets me watch all my movies on my TV, that are stored on my computer, and so i was watching The Mist. When i went to select the next movie to watch it froze. Confuzzled, i went to my computer and rebooted it. when it came up my heart dropped. i got a message saying your registry has been recovered, which could only mean something hardware related has just crapped out.
So sulkily i went to work the next day and ordered a shiny new 500GB drive. i still i wonder if i should have gotten 3 and used a raid 5. either way 500GB should be enough for now.
